  1. The topic that I have chosen for this assignment is what you learn while driving. New drivers need to understand that driving not only effects the driver but also the people around them.

I think almost everyone can tell you that walking suck, and driving is better, but is it? Most people would say yes because they are lazy. Some would say no because it costs to much. second of all chances of getting injured in a car are higher then if you walk or take the bus. Responsibility comes before anything when your driving, especially when other people are involved.

When you finally do start driving you have to focuse not only on what your doing but also on what other people are doing. If you do make a mistake you put your life and others in danger. That one mistake you make, you would have to live with for the rest of your life.

Not only is driving fun but it is also a leason teaching you how to be a responsible person. It’s good to learn from your mistakes as long as it’s not at the cost of someone elses life.

  2. An unknown author once wrote the words “leave sooner, drive slower, and live longer.” The author that wrote this summed up perfectly that all drivers need to be responsible so they can continue living life happy. Three ways drivers show they have responsibility are behaving safely, following the rules of the road, and learning from their mistakes. If drivers do not do these three things then they should not be driving.

Safety is key to learn how to be responsible when you get in the car. When you are drivng you need to understand that your decisions can put others’ lives in jeopardy if you’re not careful. An example of safe behaviour while driving is to assess the situation and adjust your speed depending on the weather and road conditions. Another example would have to be when you see people walking down the side of the road and you have to think of all the things they can do.

When you do start driving you need to follow the rules of the road. If you decide not to follow the rules then you might, and most likely will get a ticket, you could get a fine, or even worse take someones life or lose yours. Examples of not following the rules are speeding, crossing solid lines, not stopping at stop signs, running red lights etc. If you follow the rules of the road then you don’t put yourself and others’ in danger. The chances of causing an accident while following the rules of the road are very low.
Not only is driving fun but it is also a leason teaching you how to be a responsible person. Responsibility comes before anything when you’re driving, especially when other people are involved. It’s good to learn from your mistakes as long as it’s not at the cost of your own or someone elses life. The quote in the first paragraph, “leave sooner, drive slower, live longer,” not only applies to driving but also applies to life. If your life is like a car and you leaving sooner would be showing consideration, driving slower would be like taking time out for the little things, both of these things will help you live longer. Responsibility in driving and responsibility in life are essentially the same thing, they are both nessassary for being successful in life.
